Landscape Within a Landscape #35

Landscape Within a Landscape #35 is made with oil and metallic paints, graphite, and metallic thread, and is a tiny recognizable landscape on paper superimposed on another landscape at a greatly differing scale.  The background painting is made by drawing into wet oil paint with a stylus, exposing the gold metallic paint underneath in fine lines.

Summer Paintings

Landscape Within a Landscape: Tall Grasses 21

This small painting is 6"W x 4"H, and is made with oil and metallic paints, graphite, and wire on paper.  The series places very small imaginary, but recognizable, landscapes, against  backgrounds of a very different scale.  Much larger or much smaller?  None of these pieces is larger than 10" x 10".

Please contact me about availability, and to request images of other pieces in the series.
